I’m Michael R. (Robin) Caplan. I‘m a publication designer & editor, theatre-maker, writer, and down-home singer.

House of ShAkE is a home base for my own work and a home-away-from-home for creators with projects in "the House style." And it's my life's work.

House of ShAkE is whatever it needs to be, suitable for major productions or modest activities. (Have an idea for a House-style project or a collaboration?) 

House of ShAkE is an inn at the crossroads: traditional forms & virtual futures share space, soulful songs meet strange new sounds, and the physical book & the physical body are celebrated for their enduring truths.

 

Join me and the House’s current Resident Creators – beloved choreographer & master teacher David Earle, unbounded artist & poet, the late Gilles Goyette, and Bill Coleman, cosmic/comic dancer & choreographer.
