Michael Caplan's editing and design capture the "scrapbook" feeling of David's journals, and the book is divided into fourteen sections based on his themes that have been important to David throughout his great career and storied life: Ecstasy, Me, Life, Love, Eros, the Sacred, Dance, Dancers, Teaching, Creation, Martha Graham, Watchers (the audience), Music, and Art.
Co-produced with Dancetheatre David Earle, and originally made possible with the assistance of the Ontario Arts Council’s Chalmers Awards Fellowship.
